See News and Events for future activities. **We need volunteers for housekeeping.**
Faith in Action of Adams County is an interfaith volunteer care giving program, bringing together volunteers from many faiths to work together to care for their neighbors who have long-term health needs.
FAAC volunteers come from churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship, as well as the community at large. Volunteers help those in need by providing non-medical assistance with tasks such as:
Picking up a few groceries or running errands
Providing rides to the doctor
Friendly visiting (talking and listening)
Minor home repairs
Reading or helping to pay bills
With this volunteer assistance, members of the community who have long-term health needs can maintain their independence as long as possible.
Volunteering is easy! Call 608-339-0504 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get you an application or just go to our Volunteer Opportunities tab and fill out an application today!
Once your application has been processed and you have gone through a brief training, we will assign you to assist one of our recipients.
We have many opportunities available, and will be happy to work around your schedule.
